Sirvydas, Konstantinas (1580–1631) – linguist, teacher, writer and lexicographer. One of the founders of Lithuanian writing. Master of Philosophy and Liberal Sciences (1631). Since 1598 – member of the Jesuit Order. The author of the first original book in Lithuanian – a collection of sermons with parallel translations into Polish. Compiled a Polish-Latin-Lithuanian dictionary. He taught Holy Scripture at the Vilna Academy.
