Chronological framework: 1741–1921. The 3rd volume of Charles Rollin book “Histoire Romaine depuis la fondation de Rome jusqu'a la bataille d'Actium c'est-à-dire jusqu'à la fin de la République” is one of the earliest editions in the collection. It was published in Paris in 1741.

Additional information: library of Belarusian, Ukrainian and Russian Slavonic scholar Nikolay Yanchuk forms part of the collection of the Bibliology Research Department. The book collection is a documentary and historical source for wide range of specialists: bibliographers, literary scholars, historians, philologists, ethnographers, music scholars, fine art experts, pedagogues, culture experts. Collection number is assigned to each copy (“БЯ…”).

Possessory marks: there are books with dedicatory inscriptions. For instance, the collection includes 20 books by Silver Age poet Nikolay Poznyakov with verses and drawings on the margins, editions with dedicatory inscriptions of scientists A. Olenin, D. Anuchin, I. Tsvetaev, A. Vinogradov, A. Borzov, M. Bogolepov. The collection of Nikolay Yanchuk includes books with autographs of famous literary scholar, literary historian, translator A. Gruzinsky, ethnographer, archeologist, local historian E. Romanov, philologist and palaeographer V. Peretz.
