Annotation

Joannes Oecolompadius (1482–1531) – German humanist and reformer, Protestant theologian, expert in ancient languages. He studied law, theology and ancient languages ​​(Greek and Hebrew) under the guidance of Reuchlin. He is the author of commentaries on the books of Holy Scripture and theological treatises on the secret communions, as well as the catechism, which was later adopted in the Reformed Church.
