Annotation

Józef Ignacy Kraszejewski was a Polish writer, publicist, publisher, author of books on history and ethnography; pseudonyms: Kleofas Fakund Pasternak, Bogdan Bolesławita, Dr. Omega. He was a member of the Academy of Sciences in Krakow (1872). He was distinguished by his extraordinary prolificacy – his literary legacy comprises about 600 volumes of novels and stories, poetry and drama, as well as works on history, ethnography, folklore studies, travel essays, journalistic and literary-critical articles
