Palladius Rutilius Taurus Aemilianus - an ancient Roman writer about agriculture. Lived in Italy in the 4th century, had a classical education and was a wealthy landowner, owned lands in southern Italy and Sardinia, and personally managed his estates. “De re rustica...” is his famous essay on agriculture in 15 books.
